Abstract

The situation of ethnic minorities in the labour market and the possibilities of their integration into it are analysed. The analysis is based on the survey of representatives of ethnic minorities. The survey was performed in 2008–2009 within the research “The situation of men and women belonging to ethnic minorities in the labour market”, carried out by implementing the strategy of the Development of National Minorities Policy
until 2015.
The empirical survey allowed to assess the main problems of the target group integration into the labour market, to reveal manifestations of discrimination, to compare the situation of men and women belonging to ethnic minorities in the labour market, to identify some specific problems that may be an obstacle for the integration of ethnic minorities into the labour market.
