Abstract

The article deals with ancient sources of creative economy with the focus on ancient senses of such terms as creative ethos, oikos and eko which are inseparable from life art in Antiquity. The interpretation of ancient terms used until now extends the understanding of creation and allows defining the content of creative economy. According to the author, the sources of creative economy, as well as of democratic attitude lie in the
ancient thinking which was formulated when an individual cherished the community of his city-state.
