A faunistic review of Spondylidinae Audinet-Serville, 1832 (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) of the south-eastern Baltic region (Lithuania and the Kaliningrad Region)
Abstract
The paper presents, for the first time, a review of species composition and distribution of the Spondylidinae Audinet-Serville, 1832 subfamily (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) in the south-eastern Baltic region. A total of more than 600 records were analyzed and more than 800 specimens were examined. In this region, the subfamily is confirmed to be represented by four tribes, five genera, and seven species. Previous records (published notifications) of Nothorhina punctata (F.) were not confirmed in the region. The information on the ocurrence, natural history, and zoogeography for nine species found and expected to be found in the region is presented in the paper. Local distribution of six species is mapped.
